Unlike conventional belt or screw conveyors, MacDev Disc Chain Conveyors move material inside a closed pipe using specially designed discs mounted on a high-strength chain. This ensures gentle handling, dust-free operation, and consistent conveying even over long distances.
The system consists of a continuous loop of wear-resistant discs mounted on a hardened alloy steel chain, running inside a closed conveying pipe. As the chain moves, the discs push the material forward in a controlled and uniform manner.
The enclosed pipeline design prevents dust emission, protects material from external contamination, and enables safe conveying in explosive or hygienic environments. Multiple inlets and outlets can be integrated into a single conveyor line.
